Progressive started as a commercial plumbing company on Cheek Road in Durham in 1983, and commercial water heating has been a specialty ever since. Our plumbers size, install, service and replace storage tank heaters, tankless banks, condensing high-efficiency units, domestic hot water boilers and solar-assisted systems for facilities across the Triangle.
We install and service the commercial lines from A.O. Smith, State, Rinnai and Noritz, and we keep the parts and the people to keep them running.
What we do
- Sizing and design. Peak-demand and recovery calculations for kitchens, laundries, showers and process loads, so the system is right for the building rather than for the catalogue.
- Installation and replacement. Gas, electric and tankless, including venting, gas piping, recirculation loops, mixing valves and expansion control.
- Repair and emergency replacement. 24/7 response. When a unit cannot be saved, we swap it, and when a swap will take longer than you can be down, we bring in a temporary hot water unit.
