## Why convert

- **Energy.** LED fixtures typically use half to a quarter of the energy of the fluorescent, metal halide or sodium lighting they replace.
- **Maintenance.** Rated lives measured in tens of thousands of hours mean far fewer lamp changes on lifts and ladders.
- **Light quality.** Better colour rendering, instant-on, no flicker or warm-up, and dimming that legacy lamps cannot do.

## How a conversion project runs

1. **Audit.** We count and identify every fixture, record hours of use, and measure existing light levels.
2. **Design and proposal.** Retrofit kit or new fixture for each type, controls, projected savings, rebates and payback in one document.
3. **Installation.** Scheduled around your operations, area by area, with old lamps and ballasts recycled properly.
4. **Verification.** Light levels checked, controls commissioned, rebate paperwork completed.

Retrofit kits or new fixtures?Kits are cheaper up front and fine for fixtures in good condition; new fixtures give better optics and longer life. The audit tells us which makes sense for each fixture type.



How long is the payback?It depends on hours of use and the lighting being replaced. Sites that run lights all night or all day usually see the fastest payback, and rebates shorten it further. We show the numbers in the proposal.
